Join me for the final Kore Press artist salon of the season:
Exposed, the Desert as Healer: A Kore Press Salon
An interactive conversation/exploration with Kimi Eisele
Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2018
325 W 2nd St, Room 201 (Dunbar Pavilion)
Those of us who live in the desert know its balms and elixirs. We can find healing in the dry, the heat, the sparseness, learning from plants and animals that teach resilience and resistance. Join me for the final Kore Press artist salon of the season to contemplate how the desert shows us ways to survive, thrive, cooperate, and withstand. I’ll be talking about the desert as collaborator and healer in my work and life, and sharing practices for moving through our complex personal lives and political times with more patience, as better listeners, and tending to all parts of our selves. We will write, breathe, converse, be brave, and listen. All are welcome. Join me for conversation and creative experimentation.
Bring food to share or $5 for the artist; no one turned away for lack of funds.
